If you like skiing or just enjoy beautiful scenery and fresh air, you might want to go to the well-known little village Chamonix in the French Alps. There are lots of great activities you can do - everything from swimming to skating or of course skiing - The Vall�e Blanche glacier. What happens when you have worked out all day and feel that you want to do something more fun – you get dressed for it!

Today I have designed an outfit for that lovely day in the Alps when you have been skiing all day and just left your hotel and have headed off to the restaurant and bar for the After-Ski.

Got something lighter on and easy to move around in, still cool and swish - a light-grey or off-white as a main colour and a white edge and lining. The hat is – a cowboy and polar-inspired soft hat. White leather boots and a red top to break up and enhance the sports-feeling that one still wants to keep when you are on a sporting holiday like this. This is a winter and spring inspired jacket, trouser, boot, glove, top and hat.

See you out on the slopes and don’t forget to get dressed for the After-Ski.

Hats can be for protection, religious reasons or fashionable and something you like to have on your head. I myself enjoy everything from classic baseball-caps, beatle caps, cloth caps to the trilby style hat. The baseball-cap I probably like a lot because they often have a symbol or logotype that is clear and dominant - if one feels like standing out in that way. Now, that is not an everyday look. I guess I have a passion for a lot of different styles of head-ware. I’ll get back to more of that in the future.

I designed a spring fashion kind of design a while back. This is taking it a little bit further - same colour-scheme and feeling to suit the “YO – Tokyo” line. Giving you some more stuff to see from the clothing line - a hat inspired by the Japanese flag – white and red. The circle-shaped hat, or maybe even slightly elliptical, is just like the red sun (dot) in the flag. The red is meant to be silk and with a highly glossy feeling. The top of the hat in a white smooth but starched tight-weaved cloth. A blouse in the same material – maybe not so much starch in it so it is possible to wear. Still it has to be a hard and crisp look. This blouse should have the same lining as the hat. A discreet cut in front kept together with a band sewn across - still a sleek Asian feel to it - inspired by the old Bruce Lee movies I guess.

An accessory necessary for a great outfit could be the hat - worn by the right person to the right style of clothing. I’m giving you a feel for some more of the YOtokyo line. I think it’s slightly inspired by Tokyo and Japan. This time I have made a tighter hat with a cocoon look. It should still stay within the colour scheme as before. This time the red parts of the hat could be more shiny or blank. Maybe even plastic - like a red screen coming from under the top of the hat.

This hat also comes down and round the neck – so if putting it on, you would almost put it over your head like a warrior-helmet. The white surrounding part is stiff and stands by itself. The two red blocks help to enhance the red coming from under the top of the hat. The strict ”V” shape compensates the “roundish” egg-shape from the top. It catches and holds the egg so to speak.

I have spent a weekend in Barcelona and got lots of new inspiration and ideas - just waiting to get out on paper and on the net – on Wohill of course, so I think it is time for me to get started on my next design...

So to complete the YOtokyo line just for the moment I have done one more design for you to look at. It still goes in the white and red colours. I made a cocoon-jacket to give some warmth to the early spring line. Its lining is light pink to make it a little bit extra interesting when you see the jacket slightly open, or hanging up. There is a strong pin-like needle in rubber to close the jacket opening. The high boots give a luxurious feeling. The red rectangles are also placed on the boots, on the hip-pocket and on the collar joining the v-neck lining. I gave the girl a red hair-band too. So she is dressed in the high-boots and the trousers are high in the waist.

I like the clean look that this line has. It is inspired by lots of different input that I have got lately. The common shapes and colours I have chosen are to keep the style of the line going in the same direction. Things have to suite each other - like the roundness and egg shape both come forward in the jacket and the hat I did last time. The time before that, I made another hat that reminds you of the jacket design. It’s nice to see shapes repeat themselves in the clothes and hats.

Something might be just for you!

A dress designed for the evening. I have put the pattern on top and made some great white lines to give character and enhance body-shape and lines. The main part of the dress is with thin lines in dark green on a faded green. The pattern is circular and full of passion – at least these lines on top of everything anyway. The white “V” is made on several places as shown on the sketch and an upside-down “V” in the parting of the hair. The other “Vs” are the neck, the waist and two below the waist over the thighs.

Thought it would be nice to give the dress an intricate pattern and style that would give you something extra to look at besides a beautiful lady inside. This would be a perfect party-dress.

Do women today wear dresses enough? – Maybe not in everyday life, but certainly for festive occasions!

Many people today have a blogg or write on a blogg about all kinds of things. Blogging and daily information are for anyone who feels like reading about this person’s point of view or news. It is a great way to start your day – like a morning paper or magazine. So many ways to get some great reading done and maybe, like in my case, also get some inspiration and new ideas for designs that I will be doing in the future.

Oscar Julander is a writer and blogger that has a blogg named ”Stilbloggen”. He writes about clothing and fashion - takes a lot of pictures of stuff that keeps him going. This is an inspiring thing for someone who likes to see what Oscar likes and does.

For being a fashion and trend-blogg I think he might be missing one thing - a logotype or symbol that would represent his passion. I have used his initials ”O” and ”J”. The feeling I’m looking for here is a stylish and sleek design. The dotted line is like a seam in clothing and the ”J” is like a thread… and also like an autograph “J” - a stylish logo for a stylish person writing about style!
