This spring Josefine and Christoffer were going to baptise their little son Elton … and as a surprise they got married at the same time – Good or you guys – I think you will be and are a great couple!
I made a little monogram for the two of them – a “C” and a “J” connected together in a circle. The circle symbolising life – and the two halves, Josefine and Christoffer made into one! You can see that there is a connection between the two halves – symbolising their connection and life together.
Saturday was the day of celebrating this – thank you for inviting us – a great dinner in Gamla Stan. Thank you for a super time and all the best!

I have been out at Möja celebrating Midsummer as usual. It has been super weather. Blue skies and a few little white clouds here and there. The days are long and light up here in the North. Wonderful! Also – some dancing around the Midsummer-pole (in Löka – a village) with the kids! Every year they arrange this event with fun and games. We have a little competition going between the villages, Berg vs. Löka.
Big thank-you guys for arranging this every year!
I made some fun t-shirts last year for us from Berg to wear – one of Möja’s villages. So I thought it would be fun to make some more this year. This is a photo of two childhood friends that had them on – Ricard Blomstedt and Anders Winter.
The text says: Bergsäkert ( Rock solid ) or you can read it ”Berg Capital of Möja”
Have a super summer!
Berg rules!

Ok – As you might have noticed, I have been in Milano (Milan) for a few days (if you follow me on Facebook or Twitter). It was the famous “Design-week” in Milan. Lots of inspiration, creativity and talent all gathered in one pulsating city. Briefly I can say: It was a really great trip we had… “The super-crew that I was there with was Magdalena B Adaktuson, Elin Trogen, Jonas Lundin and myself Sven R. Ohlson. It was great fun and it has given me lots of glow and inspiration too! Trips and travel give you lots to think about and a real energy-boost. We have even passed through the city and some nice restaurants – sightseeing if you please! The now so famous ”Bar Basso” too! Lots of people enjoying the moment, maybe they should have had some music on… Otherwise a very nice atmosphere!
I will post some more pictures and things about the design-week in the future. Here is a little draft of a Milano logotype – the cities lettering. Just as an inspirational thing I sketched on the way home.
Thanks all for a super time in Milano. See you next year!

Niklas Ladberg and I have known each other many years now. He is a talented director who has worked with several different advanced productions through the years. You can see and read more about that on his website – www.storyboard.se . He has won awards for his work at Promax too!
The business-card you see is with his new look and profile that we finally got finished not so long ago. The logo is a unicorn. Hope you enjoy his new and improved look. And of course – Good luck to you Niklas!

When one designs logotypes or pictograms it is often so that the symbol can have several meanings or hidden messages. Either intentionally or by chance. If the message is easy to be misstaken with a similar brand or something that looks funny or bad it could be a good idea to rethink the design a bit.
This time the design could be a chair with to round lamps hanging beside it. Or a cocktail-glass… Or even a bear-nose and eyes. What do you see?

Ok – I have been thinking of zebras lately. I think it is because of all the different patterns I have been seeing on clothing the last few days – leopard, tiger and zebra patterns. That’s why I made another pictogram for Logo Grande – my design-company. I made some ground rules – for instance yellow and black – which I use in my logotype and also tried to get in the spiked hair style like the Bull I posted a few weeks ago. I think this might be a super print for a t-shirt – like a give-away to clients and friends.
Zzzzz…
Wake up!

Many months ago I designed two badges for KTH flight-club. They wanted some cool badges to have for the new pupils joining their club. I made two birds – one more of an eagle that is flapping its wings. The other one is more of a cool duck – like the old war-planes had painted on the side of the planes – just to hype things up a bit from their older badge!
They are trying to get in more members who haven´t got certificates yet – but want to learn all there is to learn about flying.
Hope these badges inspire you too!

I have a company that works with design, branding and development – or a lot within the area design. I have already a nice logotype for Logo Grande that I use for most of the company material… Still I thought that it was time to make a little more edgy bull – with a nice hair-do!
Just a little pictogram to put at the end of e-mails and stuff I send to clients.
Enjoy the yellow bull – and keep a look out – you might see him somewhere soon…

The other day I got a question if I could design a logotype for the little ceramic-shop in Stockholm, Östermalm. The potter is Jean Easdale and she produces lots of beautiful ceramics and pots. She needed a symbol and logotype for bags for clients, business-cards and maybe even a website in the future.
So I have made “P” twice – as in Pottery Presents. They are stylish and sober to give the right feeling to the logo that is representing the shop or boutique.
If you are in Stockholm some time you should check out the little boutique – and who knows you might fall for something that you like. I can assure you that you will get a lot of inspiration and enjoy the beautiful artwork!

This year, in times like this, more and more people need help and career-coaching more than ever. When workers loose their jobs or when a manager needs to step up his game – you might need a career-coach. Pia D. Ekdahl is an expert in this field and has recently started up a business of her own – after many years working as an employee it was time to move on.
The logotype is to give the company a face and a front that she can use in meeting new clients and companies in need of assistance. It is the initials of her name put together like sails on a boat flowing forward in the wind. Just like the clients she will help and coach into a better future.
Good luck to you and your .
