Today we have snowy pine tree.
The photo is taken from under the three looking up to the top and the sun shining on it. I like the depths of the photo.

I bought an iron basket the other day – for grilling and burning wood. It looks nice at night when the fire is burning and when it has burnt down you can barbeque some hotdogs or marshmallows. The kids love it!
Today is a splendid day of sunshine and blue skies – so off out in the snow!
Winter is finally here. We have really missed it!
The christmas was green unfortunately but we have to compensate for that now and spend a lot of time out playing in the snow and going downhill.
It is so beautiful when you have a really cold and white day with lots of sunshine!
It has been a little bit colder and frosty outside the last few days. And you can feel that indoors too. Even if it isn’t cold inside – the cat actually wants to be warmed up a bit more. She even crawls up on top of the radiator some days as you can see.
She just loves lying there and purrs when you walk by – or she prefers that you pat her when she is sleeping there.
I hope to get out a little bit in the snow today – and go tobogganing with the kids – even though Puzzle seems to think it is a bit cold especially for tobogganing!
It’s really nice to take those walk in the winter when there is absolutely calm and quite and white. This view is from Nyckelviken in Nacka towards Lidingö. Picture taken during a sunday walk.
Yesterday evening I was off to play some pool with some good old friends. We go way back and thought it was about time to play some pool again. Before a tradition – now not so often…
Really nice time!
When I took a walk home I saw the moon light up the road I was walking on. Like an eye looking down. Makes the walk very pleasant when it is lit up by moonlight.
Monday meeting and ideas flowing over the conference-table. Great morning and start of the week. Scribbling on paper and notebooks, googling to look at facts and picture references… Waving of hands and suddenly a coffee-cup was hit – and spilled on the table.
And look! Is it a man, a rabbits head if you turn it upside down… Or is it… well it could be anything.
Enjoy the week! And fill it with creativity.
In a former post I wrote about ice sculpting in Nynäshamn and that we took the steam train to get there.
I also took a picture of the train at the Stockholm train station. It is quite charmful to see this and to ride them although the trip was a little bit too long for the kids.
This is a photo from just before Christmas when I was out in the archipelago with the kids and my father. We were off on our traditional Christmas-tree hunt!
The kids wanted two extra trees this year – so they could have one in each of their own rooms. But they enjoyed the hunt and love being out at Ytter Sillö. We usually stop by at Möja too but this time we drove out straight from town all the way by boat.
They actually went for a tree hunt with Grandma too – for her summerhouse. A lot of Christmas tree hunting this December!
It has been a great year – lots of work and interesting projects I must say. Thank you all for a great 2011!
Can’t wait for next year 2012!
Happy New Year!
We took the steam train to Nynäshamn outside Stockholm three weeks ago to look at the christmas fair. Someone was making an ice sculpture from a big block of ice. Looks like he was making a moose. I am impressed by these artists. This time he had to hurry up though as the ice was melting
